Thiruvananthapuram: The Cenral government has sought details regarding the controversial Life Mission project. The development comes after a complaint that foreign aid was sought without Centre’s approval.
The External Affairs Ministry has asked details of the aid provided by Red Crescent in the construction of Life Mission flat at Wadakkancherry.
The Centre’s intervention comes amid allegations that the signing of the MoU with the Red Crescent in connection with the Life Mission project in Wadakancherry was unilateral.
The allegations of the BJP and the Opposition that the agreement was prepared in the interest of the Red Crescent and signed without scrutiny are only one of the corruptions of the Pinarayi government which has become even stronger with the intervention of the Centre.
