Thiruvananthapuram: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan is not a junior Mandrake but a senior, said MLA KM Shaji on Monday. He was speaking in the assembly is support of the no-confidence motion presented by MLA V D Satheesan.
Shaji came down heavily upon the Chief Minister pointing out the irregularities of his government one by one. Spekaing about the gold smuggling case, he said that the first accused in the gold smuggling case is not the Chief Minister’s office but the Chief Minister himself. CM’s former principal secretary M Sivasankar was being controlled by Pinarayi Vijayan.
Lashing out at Minister K T Jaleel, Shaji said that Jaleel was the first minister to discover that scripture could be taught through smuggling. “He has admitted to return holy Quran but not the gold.”
Mocking at Minister KK Shailaja and Chandrasekhar, Shaji said, ” There re two other ministers here, Shailaja Teacher and Chandrasekharan. Every evening they would sit to the left and right of the CM and practice Pranayama. ”
Shaji also criticised G Sudhakaran that he never realises corruption as he experienced it for 4 years continuously.
There has never been a government like this that has examined all the possibilities to embezzle, Shaji alleged.
