Thiruvananthapuram: Kodikunnil Suresh MP lashed out at MP Shashi Tharoor stating that he is taking swift action without thinking and has no political maturity.
Suresh said that as Tharoor believes himself to be a universal citizen, he is not bothered about the party’s stance. “Tharoor joined the Congress as a guest artist and continues to remain the same,” said Suresh.
Congress MP from Thiruvananthapuram Shashi Tharoor was one among the 23 senior leaders in the Congress who had demanded a comprehensive change in the party. Moreover, Tharoor had come out in support of the central government’s stand that the people of Thiruvananthapuram need development, contrary to the Congress’ stand on the issue of leasing the Thiruvananthapuram airport.
