Kochi: Chief Minister’s former IT Fellow has arrived at the Customs Department office to run into series of questions by the Customs.
Arun Balachandran was issued a notice to appear at the Customs Preventive Section office in Kochi yesterday. But Arun did not appear for questioning citing personal inconvenience.
It was Arun Balachandran who rented out the flat to Swapna Suresh, accused in the gold smuggling, to hatch conspiracy. He had said that the flat was booked on the instructions of former principal secretary to the chief minister M Sivasankar. Customs also received WhatsApp messages regarding this.
