Thiruvananthapuram: Muslim Youth League state general secretary P K Firoz has again leveled allegations against CPM state general secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan’s son, Bineesh Kodiyeri. He said that everything that Bineesh Kodiyeri said was an utter lie and that the latter is being protected by the CPM.
Firoz demanded that the state government should investigate the allegations against Bineesh. He said that efforts are being made to prevent investigation agencies in Karnataka from coming to Kerala.
He said that role and involvement of Bineesh Kodiyeri should be probed not only in the drug trafficking case but also in the gold smuggling case.
Firoz alleged that the activities of the money exchange company started by Bineesh Kodiyeri in Bangalore in 2015 are a mystery. He also said that the money for the drugs was being funded through the company.
Firoz also assured that he was ready to handover the evidence related to the case to the Enforcement Directorate if the case is properly investigated.
