Thiruvananthapuram: The state recorded highest ever single day jump of 3,082 cases of coronavirus. At the same time 2,196 samples tested negative for coronavirus.
The capital city recorded the most number of cases with 528, followed by Kollam 328, Malappuram 324, Ernakulam 281, Kozhikode 264, Alappuzha 221, Kasaragod 218, Kannur 200, Kottayam 195, Thrissur 169, Palakkad 162, Pathanamthitta 113, Wayanad 40, Idukki 39.
The death toll in the state has reached 347 after 10 more deaths due to infection were recorded today.
Of the confirmed cases 56 arrived from abroad while 132 from other states. 2844 people infected with the disease through local transmission.
