Kochi : State Government tries to restrict media, to conceal the truth of State’s action in Sabarimala. The public’s right to know the happenings of the sacred shrine was tried to be obstructed by the Government, against which Janam TV filed a petition, up on which HC directed no restrictions to media in sabarimala.
Janam TV representatives were forcefully evacuated from Sannidhanam, last day. Media representatives were evacuated from Pamba and near Thriveni bridge on mid-night, the other day.
HC had already directed the State not to restrict media in Sabarimala however the State still tend to act its will, proceeding which Janam TV had approached HC again with the concern.
