Kochi: Speculations are that Minister K T Jaleel, who is being accused in the gold smuggling case, is undergoing interrogation by the Enforcement Directorate.
No official information has been released on the whereabouts of the minister. Officials say he is not in the office and family says he is not at home. Hence, it is likely that Jaleel has appeared again before the probe team for interrogation.
On Friday, Jaleel appeared before the ED office at Aluva in a vehicle of businessman Anas from Aroor and in the CCTV footage it was seen that Minister’s vehicle returned from the home of Anas. However, the Minister was not present inside the vehicle.
