Kannur: Minister E P Jayarajan’s wife has allegedly went to bank and opened the locker before completing her quarantine period. The Minister and his wife were under self-quarantine from 7th of this month.
It is to be noted that the incident has come after a financial allegation was levelled against their son in connection with the Life Mission project.
Before completing the quarantine period, the Minister’s wife Indira visited the Kerala Bank, in Kannur District’s main branch. It is also alleged that the manager of the bank also accompanied her to open the locker and for some other transactions.
This has stirred controversy amid allegations their son for money laundering worth 1 crore in the Life Mission project.
Both the Minister and his wife were confirmed positive of coronavirus on 10th of this month.
