Thiruvananthapuram: The state recorded new 2,450 cases of coronavirus today. At the same time 2,110 recovered from the disease.
Malappuram recorded the maximum with 482 cases followed by Kozhikode 382, Thiruvananthapuram 332, Ernakulam 255, Kannur 232, Palakkad 175, Thrissur 161, Kollam 142, Kottayam 122, Alappuzha 107, Idukki 58, Kasaragod 56, Wayanad 20, Pathanamthitta 16.
Of these confirmed cases, 34 arrived from abroad while 73 from other states. 2,346 infected through local transmission.
15 more covid deaths were reported in the state, taking the cumulative toll to 454.
