Thrissur: Police Commissioner has ordered an inquiry into policewomen who took selfie with the gold smuggling accused Swapna Suresh while she was admitted to the Medical College hospital in Thrissur after she allegedly complained of chest pain.
The commissioner has announced an inquiry against six policewomen of the Thrissur city police. However, the female police personnel claim that they took selfie out of curiosity.
Earlier, reports had emerged that Swapna Suresh had contacted high-profile people via mobile phone from the hospital. However, the nurses at the hospital said that the phone was not handed over to Swapna Suresh.
