Thiruvananthapuram: The state government has no definite numbers on the migrant workers who are earning their income in Kerala which is actually a fall of the administration. This is a serious matter of concern as illegal people, that is, without any valid documents are residing in Kerala.
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) today morning busted Pakistan sponsored Al-Qaeda module and arrested three operatives from Ernakulam and simultaneously six operatives in a raid from Murshidabad, West Bengal.
It is to be noted that Janam TV had earlier reported on illegal Bangladeshis residing in Kerala with fake Aadhar cards and the government had taken no action against this illegal settlement.
According to the state government’s direction, the details of those working in Kerala from other states should be kept in the respective police stations. It is suggested that the contractor who employs the workers and the house owners who provide accommodation for them should submit their details and a copy of the photo identification document.
However, these procedures are not carried out stringently thereby paving ground for terrorism in the state.
