Kochi: In a revelation, the National Investigation Agency has found that Hindu temples Sabarimala and Guruvayur were on the hit list of Al-Qaeda terrorists nabbed from Ernakulam.
According to the NIA, the terrorists were planning to impersonate as devotees and carry out terror attacks in the temples.
The NIA conducted simultaneous raids at multiple locations in Ernakulam’s Perumbavoor Kerala and Murshidabad, West Bengal early morning and nabbed a total of nine terrorists- six from West Bengal and three from Kerala.
