Thiruvananthapuram: BJP state president K Surendran on Sunday said that Minister K T Jaleel and his team insulted the Holy Quran. He said that the CPM is taking a green communal stance.
Surendran was speaking at a press conference in Thiruvananthapuram and said that the government smuggled gold under the guise of the Quran.
“The Chief Minister is playing communal politics. Trying to destroy the communal unity of the state. The CM is trying to unleash violence in the region. We all know what stance did the CM take in the Sabarimala issue who is now talking about believers/devotees. The CPM sees the religious sentiments of only one group,” said K Surendran.
“The Chief Minister is hiding the details of the Life Mission Project. Why has the government not given any clarification on the issue?,” he asked.
