Thiruvananthapuram: The state government who celebrated Sprinklr, a company based in the US for analysis of data of COVID-19 patients in the state, has been abandoned. The contract of six months which would expire today will not be continued by the government.
The agreement was that Sprinklr would provide the service for free for the first six months. It also stipulated that if more services were required for the state but would charge a fixed rate for the same.
However, there were widespread complaints about the Sprinkler deal. Following the controversy over the contract, the High Court had directed to pass on the information collected to C-DIT.
Further it was found that neither C-DIT nor Sprinklr could be used productively in connection with corona data analysis.
