Thiruvananthapuram: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said that there was a lack of caution of the coronavirus in the state and the death toll might surge. However, IMA’s criticism was not correct.
He was speaking while inaugurating 75 family heath centres via video conferencing.
Pinarayi Vijayan slammed the IMA for its ‘infested with worms’ remark. He said that those with a mind infested with worms can make such a statement. He said that if there was any lapse on the part of government, it can be brought to the attention of the government.
However, nothing much has happened in the state to tally criticise the health sector of Kerala, the CM said.
The lack of caution resulted in COVID transmission, but we managed to resist it effectively, he said.
“We are not reluctant in communicating, seeking advice and accepting suggestions,” CM Vijayan added.
