Kozhikode: In the latest development the investigation into the Bengaluru drug bust case has also extended to Kozhikode. The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) questioned two natives of the city.
Salman from Nadkavu, Kozhikode and Sijah Aslam from Koduvalli Karuvan Poyil were questioned by the NCB.
After being directed to appear again, the accused appeared in the court for anticipatory bail. Kozhikode Principal Sessions Court will consider the bail application tomorrow and at the same time, the court has sought the NCB report. The MDMA (psychoactive drug)which had arrived from the Netherlands for the accused, was seized by the NCB in Bengaluru.
Another Malayalee accused Mohammad Haider was earlier taken into custody by the probe team.
