PM Modi, Amit Shah trying to topple Pinarayi Vijayan govt who is governing as per aspirations of Pope Francis: Kodiyeri Balakrishnan

Thiruvananthapuram: CPM state secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan said that the Pinarayi Vijayan government in Kerala is governing according to the dreams of Pope Francis. Pinarayi has created a model alternative to the world within the confines of the capitalist framework.

He said that about 30 per cent of the world’s population is still under the socialist banner. Yet over the past decade. the socialist-left forces have suffered setbacks in various parts of the world.

The Left is surviving by overcoming the temptations and provocations to maintain the peace of the country. The policy of the CPM is that violence and political killing should not take place anywhere in the state.

The Party’s stand that there should be no violence or retaliation is not because the CPI(M) has lost the power to respond, but because of its commitment to the people and its interest in the peace of the country.

“The imperialist-capitalist giants and the reactionary political and communal forces are fighting against the Pinarayi Vijayan government. And for this Modi and Amit Shah are guiding the forces to topple the Left government,” Kodiyeri stated.

Left’s vibrant heart exists in India in the LDF-ruled Kerala. And to bring this into a standstill is a result of national conspiracy, Kodiyeri Balakrishnan points out in an article published in Deshabhimani.
