Thiruvananthapuram: The state recorded new 9,250 cases of coronavirus disease today. At the same time, 8,048 recovered from the disease, informed Health Minister K K Shailaja.
Kozhikode recorded 1205 cases followed by Malappuram 1174, Thiruvananthapuram 1012, Ernakulam 911, Alappuzha 793, Thrissur 755, Kollam 714, Palakkad 672, Kannur 556, Kottayam 522, Kasaragod 366, Pathanamthitta 290, Idukki 153, Wayanad 127.
25 more deaths were reported in the state today, taking the tally to 955.
Of the confirmed cases 24 arrived from abroad while 143 from other states. 8215 people contracted the disease through local transmission.
2,73,686 people are undergoing treatment for the disease in various regions of the state. 68,321 samples were tested in the last 24 hours.
