Thiruvananthapuram: BJP state president K Surendran said that with the statement of accused Swapna Suresh coming into light, it has been proved that the mastermind of the gold smuggling is the Chief Minister. The allegations made by the BJP three months ago are now clear to the investigation agency.
“It is clear that everything happened was with the knowledge of the Chief Minister and that his office is involved in the treason case. If there is some morality, the Chief Minister should resign as soon as possible. The CPM should respond to the high profile allegations against the Chief Minister and the government that have embarrassed the country,” said K Surendran.
The protests in the state will continue strongly in the coming days till the resignation of the Chief Minister, said K Surendran.
