Pathanamthitta: Former BJP state president Kummanam Rajasekharan on Thursday rubbished all the allegations levelled against him. He said that he does not know anything about the money dealings and had spoke only ideological based things.
Kummanam Rajasekharan reiterated that he has no business dealings.
The case pertains to his PA allegedly scamming Rs 28.75 lakh from an Aranmula native. Aranmula police registered the FIR with Kummanam Rajasekharan as the fifth accused in the complaint regarding a financial transaction carried out by Praveen Kumar, who was his PA during his tenure as the Mizoram Governor.
The BJP leader said, “The case that he swindled money is politically motivated. The CPM is trying to make political gain out of it. The investigating officer is also being a part of this. Without even conducting a preliminary inquiry I have been made an accused. Police have not released any information in this regard.”
He said that promoted the idea of steel as a substitute for plastic, which has a serious impact on the environment. Kummanam told Janam TV that he has not spoken about its business to anyone.
