Thiruvananthapuram: Noose tightens for Left Front as in a significant revelation it has come to light that the gold was smuggled for MLA Karat Razak and Karat Faizal. The main accused Sandeep Nair’s wife in her statement to the Customs made the revelation.
Karat Razak has close links with another accused in the case K T Ramees. Sandeep’s wife Soumya revealed that Ramees was smuggling gold for Karat Razak and Faisal in Koduvally. Swapna Suresh also helped them with gold smuggling.
Soumya also told Customs that Sandeep tortured her physically when she opposed gold smuggling.
Karat Razak is the MLA from Koduvally and Karat Faisal is the Left councillor of Koduvally Municipality.
