Kannur: BJP wins seat in Kannur corporation for the first time as their candidate V.K Shaiju won the poll in Pallikunnu Division against the opposition in the local body elections by a majority of 236 votes.
Post the win of the BJP candidate with a total of 845 votes, UDF has been pushed towards the second position with 609 votes and LDF towards the 3rd.
