Thiruvananthapuram: Dates for conducting the SSLC and Higher Secondary examinations in the state was announced today. Exams will be held from March 17 to March 30 following the Covid Protocols. The decision was taken at a high level meeting chaired by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan.
Arrangements for the conduct of examinations will be completed by the Education Department soon. Practical classes will commence from January 1,2021. Arrangements will be made for students at the school level for revision and doubt clearance regarding the portions taken during the online class which started from June 1 on context of Covid-19.
Classes will be conducted on shift basis if needed during morning and noon, with half the number of students in each session. Final year undergraduate and Post-graduate classes at the college level will start from January first week. Decision was also made to start second-year classes in Medical Colleges.
