Thiruvananthapuram: The Health Department instructed all the officers who were on local election duty to take Corona test since few officers were tested positive for the virus. The officers were tested positive following a PCR test that was carried out due some symptoms.
The returning officers are instructed to hand over the list of employees who were in charge of local elections to the Health Department. They will undergo Corona Test under State Expense. Some leaders who were in charge of the election campaigns have also tested positive for Covid. they Health Department has warned everyone who were in contact with them to be careful and go under observation if needed.
