Ernakulam: The Kerala High Court on Monday granted bail to IUML MLA M C Kamaruddin after two months of his arrest with strict conditions.
The Majeswaram MLA was arrested on November 7, 2020 in a multi-crore investment scam for allegedly cheating several people who invested in gold jewelry business which is owned by him in Kasaragod district.
The HC granted the IUML leader bail in three cases considering Kamaruddin’s health condition and the fact that he is not booked under any other case while granting him the bail.
