Kasargod: An election official on Friday came up with a complaint to the State Election Commission regarding the misfortune that he had to face at the polling booth in North Malabar Village. Election Presiding officer K M Sreekumar alledged that Uduma MLA Kunjiraman threatened him when he questioned fake voting.
“Uduma MLA Kunjiraman threatened to cut off my leg when I questioned fake voting. On election day, there were frequent fraudulent voting in the polling booths. The incident took place while the officials were watching. Despite informing the collector, no action was taken. I have filed a complaint with the Election Commission and all the evidence regarding this has been video graphed, said Sreekumar through a Facebook post.
