Thiruvananthapuram: Health Minister KK Shailaja on Thursday said that the preparations for the Vaccination drive in the State have been completed and that there is no room for concern regarding the arrangements.
The vaccination drive is expected to be completed successfully. Do not worry about getting the vaccine and need not panic if you have any minor issues. It is hoped that with the advent of the vaccine, more people will be able to stay safe. Do not expect to be safe after the intake of the first dose until the course of the vaccine is completed. The minister said that adequate care should be taken till taking the second dose.
The nationwide vaccination drive is all set to begin from 16 January. The vaccine, which has been delivered to three centers in the state, will be distributed to district centers from today. Vaccination will be given at 133 centers in the state. As the vaccine becomes more available, more than 100 centers will be set up in each district.
