Family alleges suspicion over the death of newly wed in Kallambalam

Thiruvananthapuram: The family of the newly wed who was found dead in Kallambalam, has alleged that the death of the girl is mysterious. Along with the family of the deceased Athira, the family of her husband has also alleged the possibility of murder. Athira was found dead with her neck and wrist cut off at her husbavnd’s house in Kallambalam.

Suspicions are mounting over the death of Athira, who was found dead in a toilet on Friday. Based on the post-mortem, the police police came to the conclusion that the death was by suicide. Athira, who got married a month and a half ago, was found dead in the bathroom of her husband’s house. Several wound marks were found in her neck and and wrists. These made the police to make the initial conclusion that the death was a suicide. There were no signs of force on the body. Post-mortem doctors said that the wound was create using a knife.

The bathroom was locked from inside and a knife was found from inside. It was clear from the statements that no one was at home at the time of the alleged death. Even when it is said to be suicide, the police are not sure what the cause is.
