Alappuzha: Decades of wait comes to an end as Alappuzha Bypass was inaugurated for public transportation on Thursday by the Union Minister Nitin Gadkary and Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan through video conferencing.
The two-lane bypass is 6.8 km long and connects Kalarkod to Kommadi. Governor Arif Mohamed Khan, Union Minister VK Singh and V Muraleedharan, State PWD Minister G Sudhakaran and Finanace Minister Thomas Issac were also present in the function.
