Sabarimala Police atrocities: pleas in High Court today

Kochi: The Government will submit affidavit for a number of pleas questioning the police riots in Sabarimala.  Last day, High Court had instructed DGP to inform in detail as what all the restrictions are being implemented in Sabarimala.

Devaswom Board will explain in court about the basic facilities in Sabarimala.

A number of pleas are before the court today that complain the police atrocities.

Devaswom Bench had already expressed its dissatisfaction. DGP has to explain about the details about the higher police officials deployed in Sabarimala.

How many devotees can stay there at Sannidhanam and Nadappanthal,what are the facilities arranged for disabled and children,details about the KSRTC service,the disciplinary actions taken on police – all these issues are to be considered today.

T G Mohandas’s plea on atheists entry to Sabarimala,Special Commission’s report on the happenings during Chithira atta vishesha pooja season,report on the snailing post- flood relief works,P C George MLA’s plea on the issues on basic infrastructure and Prayar Gopalakrishnanan’s complaint on the mismanagement in the basic amenities in Sabarimala too will be considered today itself.
