Dollar Smuggling Case: Sivasankar’s bail plea postponed for verdict

Kochi: The bail application of M Sivasankar who was booked for the Dollar smuggling case has been postponed to Wednesday for verdict by the CJM Court.

Earlier Sivasankar was granted bail in a gold smuggling case registered by the Customs and in money laundering case registered by the Enforcement Department. Sivasankar has been remanded to custody till May 9 in connection with the case. Customs had found that Sivasankar was involved in smuggling of dollars worth 1.5 crores.
