The oil spill at Thiruvananthapuram’s Shanghumughom and Veli shores spread far into the sea. Local fishermen had spotted the leak and alerted the TTP officials. The officials sorted the issue and took help of the locals in clearing the oil. The cleaning process in the beach is still going on. The company’s employees are participating in cleaning up the beach.
