Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin have congratulated Pinarayi Vijayan who took oath as Chief Minister of Kerala on Thursday.
In a twitter message, the PM said “Congratulations to Shri @vijayanpinarayi Ji on taking oath as CM and commencing his second term in office.”
In a reply, the Chief Minister said “Thank you Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji.”
Pinarayi Vijayan took the oath of office and secrecy as the Chief Minister of Kerala for a second consecutive term.
In a twitter message, Sharad Pawar said “Heartfelt congratulations Shri @vijayanpinarayi on being sworn-in as the Chief Minister of Kerala. My best wishes to you in your journey towards development for the people of Kerala.”
MK Stalin said “Best wishes to my brother @vijayanpinarayi on his swearing in as @CMOKerala and I hope that his determination and perseverance will lead to social equality, peace and prosperity for the people.”
Malayalam super star Mohanlal also congratulated Pinarayi Vijayan on the occasion. Several leaders cutting across political lines congratulated Pinarayi Vijayan on the occasion.
