Kerala recorded 7,499 new cases of COVID-19 and 94 deaths in the past 24 hours, a release said here on Monday.
The fresh cases came from 77,853 tests conducted during the past day while the Test Positivity Rate now is 9.63 per cent. The TPR was above 30 per cent at 16 places of the state.
As many as 13,596 people have recovered from the disease in the past day.
As per the release, in the last 24 hours, no new UK returnee tested positive for the virus. So far 128 such people have tested for COVID-19 and 11 with the genetically modified virus. The samples have been sent to NIV Pune for testing.
