Bengaluru, Jul 12(UNI): After remaining suspended for over two months owing to Covid-induced lockdown, the Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) on Monday resumed its bus services to Kerala.
However, the passengers need to produce their Covid-19 negative report before boarding the bus, as per a state government order.
If the absence of a negative report, the passenger should have proof of at least on dose of the vaccine. The driver and the conductor of the bus should mandatorily have a Covid negative report.
Border district officials have been asked to verify documents at the check post before the bus enters the state, the order added.
Following a surge in Covid cases, the state government had announced a lockdown leading to suspension of the bus services. Now, with the rapid decline in the cases, the transport services have been resumed, a government official said.
