Thiruvananthapuram, Jul 12 (UNI): Kerala Governor Arif Mohammed Khan on Monday condoled the demise of Baselios Marthoma Paulose II, Catholicos of the East and Supreme Head of the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church of India.
In a message, the Governor said “My heartfelt condolence to the sad demise of Baselios Marthoma Paulose II.
Compassion towards fellow beings reflected in the development projects initiated by Baselios Marthoma Paulose II as leader of the Church.
My heartfelt condolence. May his soul rest in peace,” the Governor added.
