A, I groups to take tough stance against K. Sudhakaran

Thiruvanthapuram: A, I groups of Congress plan to take tough stance against KPCC President K. Sudhakaran. In the matter of District Presidents if consideration is not received, A, I groups will not take part in the official programs of KPCC.  With this kind of disregard, things cannot go on, according to Ramesh Chennithala and Oommen Chandy.

To appoint District Presidents above all groups is the decision of Sudhakaran. This decision cannot be accepted, Ramesh Chennithala and Oommen Chandy have expressed their opinion earlier itself. Avoiding all groups, Sudhakaran gave his list to the High Command. This has resulted in severe protests within the party.  Although there were protests within the party when Opposition leader and KPCC President were appointed, it was somehow kept low. But this time with decisions of appointment of District Presidents, A and I groups have decided to go for a tough stance against Sudhakaran.

Chennithala and Oommen Chandy have expressed their objection to the High Command. But Sudhakaran has the support of Rahul Gandhi and so he could go ahead with his decisions avoiding Chennithala and Oommen Chandy. If things are going like this, not to co operate with Sudhakaran is the decision of A, I groups. Groups will also keep a distance with Opposition Leader V. D Satheeshan. They also have decided not to take part in protests against the State Government.

There are enough reasons for the Opposition to go out on all out attack against State Government in the assembly but they are not efficient in this. With the protests fuming within the party, Congress is now in for a big trouble.
