Kannur: The victim’s father and seven others got arrested in molestation case. DYFI Thaliyil Unit Secretary Nikhil Mohanan, M Mrudul, Vaisakh, Jithin, Sajin and Shyam are the arrested culprits. Now altogether 12 people got arrested in this case.
The case is charged against 19 people.The victim has given statement that her father was the first one to assault and later on, persons who got acquainted from social media contact also tortured the girl. The minor was molested in various houses and lodge rooms in the district.
Police had already arrested K V Sandeep, C P Shamsudeen, V C Shabeer, K V Ayoob and K Pavithran.
The videos of sexual assault were recorded and the victim was repeatedly harassed and blackmailed.The rapists showed those videos to victim’s brother,asked money,threatened and beaten him.Minor’s brother informed this incident to his relatives and filed complaint .
