Ayyappa Jyothi will be held today to protect rituals

Thiruvananthapuram: Ayyappa Jyothi, the light meant  to protect centuries old traditions and rituals, will be held this evening.The lights will be lined up from Hosankadi, Kasargod to Kanyakumari Thriveni Samgam. The national capital, Around 3000 centres in eleven states and foreign countries will also be a part of Ayyappa Jyothi.

The lighting of the lamp from Kasargod Hosangadi to Angamaly will be held on National Highways while it will be held on MC road from Angamaly to Muvattupuzha.

BJP Karma Samithy leaders, PSC former Chairman Dr. K S Radhakrishnan, former DGP T P Senkumar, Vanitha Commission former member J Prameela Devi, Suresh Gopi MP, social worker Aswathy Jwala, artist Madamb Kunjukuttan,Prof. N Sarasu, Father Jose Palappuram, director Ali Akbar as well as numerous other personalities will be a part of the Jyothi.

Various Hindu organisations have extended their support to the event.
