New Delhi: National Child Rights Commission is about to take steps on the attacks towards children in Sabarimala. During Chithira atta vishesha pooja opening, police had attacked devotees including children that caused fear and pain in child devotees.The commission has sought a detailed explanation from Thiruvananthapuram collector. The collector should explain as what all happened in Sabarimala in person or else strict legal actions will be taken, the commission warns.
Earlier, the Commission had sought reports from state Government and Collector. The members of the commission had reached Kerala and did a detailed probe in the matter and submitted report to the Chairperson.It was on the basis of this report that the Commission decided to seek explanation from the collector.The commission asked the collector to reach at 11 am on 21st of this month.
