Alappuzha: Biju, a street food stall vendor and his family is in the verge of collapse as the CPM activists unleash torture. Biju makes a living from the small street food stall. His stall at Vellakkinar in Alappuzha is being destroyed for the second time in two weeks. Biju has filed a complaint at the police station but no steps has been taken yet against the accused. Biju had clearly mentioned that his street stall was smashed and he was attacked by a team of CPM activists.
On the day of hartal against the breach of rituals in Sabarimala, CPM attacked and smashed Biju’s stall. Biju, borrowed money, repaired and reopened the stall but CPM goondas repeated their activities,and destructed his stall again on the same day of reopening.
It’s becoming more and more evident the CPM activists who indulge in attacking Ayyappa devotees will be protected at any cost even if they are accused of criminal activities.
