Thiruvananthapuram: Devaswom Board has granted 15 more days to Thantri to give explanation about conducting purification rituals in Sabarimala after the breach of rituals.
The doors of the holy shrine was closed and purification rituals were done after Bindu and Kanakadurga entered Sabarimala. Devaswom Board had sought explanation from Thantri Kandaru Rajeevaru in this regard.
The deadline to submit explanation ends today and hence, the extension upto two more weeks.The Board met on last 17th and decided to give more time to Thantri.
Thantri had sought more time to give explanation as he was busy with activities in Sabarimala.
