Kottarakkara: A dawn-to-dusk harthal called by BJP in protest against the house attack of soldier is complete in Kottarakkara. The religious fanatics attacked soldier Vishnu,native of Puthur, and his mother and destroyed their house.The incident points the finger at religious fundamentalists. BJP called for Harthal in Kottarakkara constituency and in Pavithreswaram Panchayath.
The incident took place last day at 12 noon, when a team of seven attackers intruded into Vishnu’s house and smashed windows and doors and ruined house including pooja room. Vishnu’s mother Subhadra got injured and admitted to taluk hospital.CCTV visuals shows attackers reached the spot in a car without number plate. Puthur Police has filed case and inquiry is underway.
Clash erupted last Thursday, when Vishnu questioned a gang who were transporting cattle in a cruel manner. Vishnu and his friend were remanded in this case .
