Thiruvananthapuram: The National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) has registered a case in the death of Asmiya mol at a madrasa in Balaramapuram in Thiruvananthapuram district. The NCPCR took the case after a complaint was submitted to it by ABVP National Executive Member, Greeshma.
The NCPCR member Dr.RG Anand has asked the district collector to take the necessary steps and submit a report within seven days. The central organization also suggested that required compensation must be provided to the family of Asmiya mol.
The relatives of Asmiya mol have leveled serious charges against Al Aman Charitable Trust. The institution has also failed to provide required documents to run madrasa to the authorities.
The relatives are sticking to their allegations that Asmiya mol had received bad experiences at the institution and that there are suspicions surrounding her death. Asmiya mol’s mother has also alleged that the institution’s authorities had hidden the fact that Asmiya had tried to commit suicide.
However, the statements of other students at the institution do not speak about any such experiences.
