Alappuzha: The charge sheet in the fake currency case involving agriculture officer M Jishamol will be submitted soon. There are ten accused in the case including Jishamol. In the investigation, it was found that Jishamol handled fake currency only once but she was aware of the illegal dealings of her friends. But Crime Branch was unable to find where the currency notes were printed.
The fake currency case involving Edathua agriculture officer Jishamol came out on February 23. The employee of ‘Sini Taders’ in Alappuzha was caught by bank authorities while trying to carry out transactions using seven Rs 500 denominations allegedly given by Jishamol.
At first, Jishamol denied her involvement but she confessed after evidences were against her. She is staying at a rented house near Kalarikkal area in Alappuzha. There are allegations that Jishamol had created fake marriage certificate at the office she previously worked.
