Thiruvananthapuram: Vice President Jagadeep Dhankar has praised Malayalees during his speech at the inauguration of Silver Jubilee celebrations of Kerala Legislative Assembly Building. “Heartiest felicitations to the people of Kerala and the nation is proud of them, their energy, their human resource richness, their commitment, their impactful presence in the state and outside particularly on the field of education and health. I am a beneficiary of it.”, he said. Vice President spoke these words remembering his Malayalee teacher Rathna Nair from Sainik School.

Vice President reached Kerala as part of his two-day visit. He was welcomed by Governor and ministers at the Thiruvananthapuram airport on Sunday. Vice President visited Sree Padmanabhaswamy temple yesterday and shared the pictures on Twitter.
After the inauguration, Vice President Dhankar will reach Kannur. There he will visit the Indian Naval Academy (INA), Ezhimala, Kannur, where he will interact with the cadets. During the tour of Kannur, Vice President will pay respects to his teacher Rathna Nair at her residence in Thalassery.
