Kottayam: A government employee got arrested for accepting bribe. Vigilance has arrested K K Soman, executive engineer of Electrical Inspectorate Kottayam. He took ten thousand rupees from a person who came with a demand and also asked for the remaining ten thousand rupees.
The complainant approached vigilance. Then he approached the executive engineer and handed over the money given by the vigilance. The vigilance team, who were observing this, found the money from Soman and registered his arrest. The complainant was a contractor from Ernakulam
