Malappuram: CPI(M) MLA, KT Jaleel, is under criticism for trying to mislead the people in the recent arson attacks on trains. He has raised baseless accusations that the Sangh Parivar is behind the arson attacks to create rift between Hindus and Muslims.
Many social media users now doubt if KT Jaleel is trying to provide covering fire to terrorists in a bid to protect them. They say that he might be trying to mislead the people by blaming the RSS for the arson attacks and thus protect the real culprits and make them safe in Kerala.
Social media users say that Jaleel’s recent rant against Sangh Parivar reminds of how Pakistani army employs covering fire tactic to protect terrorists, who are trying to infiltrate into India. Pakistan army begins firing at Indian army posts to divert attention and help the terrorist infiltrate into India.
Likewise, when terror groups in Kerala gain strength, KT Jaleel, brings in politics into these incidents and try to confuse the people. Thus the terrorists are safe and can plan their next moves without the spotlight being on them. Seeing KT Jaleel’s FB posts, many social media users are raising this possibility.
Criticisms are growing against KT Jaleel with some saying that he is really a former SIMI leader. Other social media users say that the banned PFI is still active and Jaleel’s posts are examples for that.
The National Investigation Agency had called Jaleel as witness in the gold smuggling case. He was also under investigation when allegations of illegal import of dates and religious texts through diplomatic courier mailed to UAE Consulate were raised. He was a Cabinet Minister in the LDF government during the period.
