Kochi: Malayalam actor and famous script writer, Renji Panicker, said that if there was no Shivaji, there would not have been any Hindu proponents, including Guruji Golwalkar. Renji Panicker also said that communism has died a natural death in the lands where it took birth.
Renji Panicker made these statements while addressing a program after receiving the first installment of the Sangh Darshanamala Books series in Kochi.
The actor said that philosophies with closed doors and windows would meet the same end as that of communism. Whatever may be the greatness of a given philosophy, the powerful current of the time will sweep it into oblivion of history. History has witnessed it several times. One cannot keep a philosophy intact by closing the doors. All philosophies should be studied and discussed. Then only it can get rid of the shackles of dogmas and march forward. Then it will survive beyond the boundaries of time, he said.
Renji Panicker is a well known Malayalam actor, script writer, director, film producer and journalist. Many popular Malayalam movies that have stood the test of time have been penned by Renji Panicker.
